Growing Up on Olive Branch Road

I am Ashley, Founder and Chief Creative of Olive Branch Road. Thank-you for being here.

Dear trusted customer and new friend,

As you sit down with a cup of coffee or tea snuggled with your babies or at your corporate desk, I wanted to send a heartfelt note sharing why I started the Olive Branch Road brand. Having my now two-year-old son changed me in every way for the better. I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit, going to my Dad’s auto center and gas station and my Mama’s weight loss center on school breaks, I wanted to learn and grow and saw how brick and mortars ran, plus I got to spend quality family time. I was driving on a long drive in June 2024 and was listening to female founder podcasts, and the dream of this brand was what I believe a divine download. I got to a hotel that night, sketched it all out and ran it by my husband. It seemed crazy because I have a medical background, but it was a dream I couldn’t shake.

As a member of The Southern Coterie, I had seen Drew Defir of Luna Marketing Studio and had great vibes about her. We scheduled a discovery call, and I shared my dream with her. She put me in contact with who is now my lead technical designer and brand consultant. One call led to another and we were off. Completely out of my comfort zone yet driven by this dream to be a full-time Mom with my now two boys and a denim designer creating community around something so universal as denim and yet longing for it to be a brand that you go back to over and over, building a capsule that you feel confident in and can use as pieces to mix and match for any occasion.

I chose denim because of my upbringing. I grew up on an 80-acre homestead that I completely took for granted and appreciate more now that I have moved away yet get to visit because three generations still live there. Taking my boys back home is a gift to me, and I appreciate it more than I can explain. The values of the brand are rooted in my upbringing: integrity; a great product we can stand behind; denim made for the moments that matter; lived in, loved, and trusted for the long haul; every stitch tells a story; fashion that fits your life, every step of the way; your forever denim; timeless pieces, endless stories; wardrobe staples you’ll trust; designed to wear, loved forever; style rooted in authenticity; denim that celebrates the modern woman; denim you’ll live in…denim that feels like home, whatever that means to you.

In short, Olive Branch Road is an extension of my personal story, and I hope it become as part of yours.
